Brothers in Christ (BIC) will continue its ministry in 2024 and beyond.
An ecumenical and diverse group of men in leadership dedicated to walking with each other in their relationship with Christ - meeting at least monthly for a meal, and annually for a retreat.
About BIC
Brothers in Christ (BIC) was founded in 2001 by John Castles, Mark Ganz, and Don Krahmer, Jr. to bring emerging and established leaders of faith together from various Christian traditions to share personal and spiritual stories. The group meets monthly at Arlington Club on the second Wednesday of the month, starting promptly at 7:00am.
About the Transition
After many selfless years of stewarding BIC, Don has decided to retire at the end of 2023. A council of BIC members has been convened to continue the stewardship of BIC following Don’s retirement. This council is working with Don on the administrative transition of leadership.

This is not a re-envisioning of BIC. This is a continuation of the core mission that you’ve all experienced since BIC’s founding in 2001

Our council is praying, meeting, discussing, discerning, and preparing for the continuation of BIC in 2024 and beyond

All members on the current mailing list will be invited to continue participation

The speakers for our Wednesday morning gatherings at the Arlington Club have been scheduled through December 2023, and the council is working on the list for 2024

The 2024 retreat has been scheduled for January 5-7

A new email system and RSVP system via this website, bicpdx.org will be established for the 2024 retreat and all 2024 meetings - so please save this website for your sign-up. Stand by, and in the meantime, please submit your information on the front page.
